How to make a project open with 'Wiki' tab instead of with 'Overview'?
In actual use it seems better to open a project (from Projects) at its
Wiki page instead of at the Overview page as it does now.
Is there a way to do so? There is in the project Settings a field called
Homepage. Can this be used for this purpose?
Otherwise, is there another way to highlight the Wiki tab or move it
next to the Overview tab?

Hi Erik,
We have investigated this.
It's completely possible to:
- Make the wiki page the "default" for projects
- Change the wiki tab order so it appears "sooner".
The problem is that this has to be done for all projects; you can't have some of the projects defaulting to the "overview" while others defaulting to "wiki". We don't think this would be a good idea as some of the projects might not have a wiki (the overview module is "required" for all projects, while the "wiki" module isn't).
The "change in order" would also happen for all projects.
We can change its position to whatever you want (second, third, etc). Since that would happen for all projects, we would need permission from Javier.
Best regards,
Enrique

Any possibility to just change the color of the Wiki tab (yellow or orange?) to highlight it?
Otherwise the logical way is to have in the bottom of the description a text like:

Hi Erik,
We could change the style to orange, but the change would be done for all projects, not just one; we would need approval from Javier for that, too. Keep in mind that there's a new layout in the works; maybe we could consider postponing that until the new theme is in production.
The re-ordering, on the other hand, is a relatively trivial change, and we can do it pretty fast.
Regarding the "detailed project description" that you mentioned, I like the ways you are already handling it; adding it manually to the descriptions that require it. The reason for not automating this is that some projects might be ok with the "front description", not precising a "detailed" one.
Nevertheless, if you want us to create the link automatically, we can do it too (with permission from Javier). We would make sure to put it only in the projects with an active wiki module. However, take into account that if we were to implement this, on any project that already has said link on its description, the link would appear twice (until the manual link was eliminated).
Regards!

OK, we'll wait until the new layout is done and Javier being back before changing anything.
Until then I'll add the manual "detailed description" when needed. No need to automate this.
My preference would go to move the wiki as second tab from the left, and possibly highlight it in another color (oops, maybe it will look like the 'selected tab'. To be tried). - Maintainer
Hi Erik,
What's the status on this? Can I close it down, or are you still interested in making any changes to the project tabs? (on the above thread you mention two - making the wiki tab appear second on the list and changing its appearance)

I'd like it to become the second tab.
I really notice that when I demo OHR to other people it is so odd to have the main page containing real info (the wiki) being so hidden. - Maintainer
Hi there,
The wiki tab is now the second tab in the list. I'm closing down this issue.
Best regards,
Enrique
