In the debug interrupt handler we were locking the single CPU instance, but actually we are using a global resource which is then used also to load/dump firmware. This patch add a new global spin lock for CPU selection. Signed-off-by:

The original assumption that each RT application is compatible with only one FPGA bitstream is wrong. A RT application can run, as is, on different FPGA designs. For instance, an "hello world" application can run on any FPGA design. To be more concrete, the white-rabbit PTP core can run on different FPGA applications. Signed-off-by: -

The bug can be exposed by doing several time insmod/rmmod. On removal we are not releasing the entire region that we allocated. So, after a some dozen of insmod/rmmod, we run out of chrdev space. Signed-off-by:

Following the reasons to choose LGPL 2.0 or later: * the work is done by CERN, so a public organization. Anyone should benefit from CERN work without too many restricions. * The project contains also kernel code and in order to be submittable to the Linux kernel the project must be a GPL 2.0 or compatible.
