This page contains instructions for reviewers of the V1.0 schematics.
The files for review are available at the bottom of this page. These include the schematics themselves and a parts list (like a Bill of Materials and Power Budget combined). Both files are provided by Sundance, the company that did the schematic.
Before starting the review process, it is recommended that reviewers read the design manual by Sundance. There are a few differences between the manual and the schematics, because of design decisions made during the schematic capture process, but the document is still a good introductory read to the board.
When you discover an issue, or have a question/remark, please use the Issues page to check that it has not been already reported (don't forget to also check the closed issues) and, if not, to submit a new issue. From there, you can track the progress of the issue, discuss it, etc.
When submitting a new issue, please add a Title, a Description, set the Milestone to Schematic done
, and add the hw
Label. Optionally, you can add another label, to signal the importance of the issue. The available importance labels in decreasing order of priority are:
-
critical
(for anything that will make the board non-functional) -
important
(for anything that will seriously affect the performance of the board) -
minor
(for any issue that is not critical or important) -
cosmetics
(for recommendations to improve the look of the schematics) -
question
(for questions)
At any given moment you can also see an overview of open issues using the Board view.
Once all the input has been gathered, we will organise a meeting to discuss the results of the review and solve any remaining open issues.
The deadline for the submission of issues is Tuesday 22/09/2020.
