CERN-specific information
This page may be of interest to CONV-TTL-BLO designers and other CERN employees. It lists the LHC equipment names, gives details on old pulse repeater systems at CERN, as well as details on the ELMA crates where the pulse conversion systems are envisioned to be placed.

Rationale behind new TTL to pulse converter system design
Early specification
- The board broadly follows the initial description outlined in the Functional Specifications. However, throughout releases of hardware and gateware, the final product has evolved and may differ from the early specification (now considered outdated). The roadmap gives an overview of the board evolution.

Board gateware versions
This section lists what gateware is loaded by default to which boards.
More information about gateware releases can be found on the Gateware versions page.
A not necessarily up-to-date list of modules can be found in the following files (and also on EDMS, on searching for HCCTDAH)
To poll the gateware versions for the boards, see Accessing the list of modules in CCDB and MTF.
Software Support
A Python tool named convttl-tool
has been developed to provide access
to the conv-ttl-blo board. The tool allows the user to get information
about the board status and the pulse flow.
More information about the tool are part of the help message within the
tool.
The tools is part of a set of tools available in the coht-tools
repository . The tool
depends on a set of Python classes available in the PyBECO
repository.
