Instrumentation

  • Power Supplies: two Hewlett Packard E3612A
  • Oscilloscope: LeCroy Wavejet 324A 200MHz
  • Probes: Tek P6134C
  • CTRV: it generates the input pulse for the Blocking output driver

Measurements

Two small smd boards were prototyped. All the components correspond to the ones found in the Revision C schematics.

Output circuit

Capture of the Blocking driver outputing to a 50 Ohm load:

Input circuit

Different captures are shown below. The yellow trace represents the received signal of the input circuit. The pink trace is the active low output of the input optocoupler. The input threshold is set to 3.9V.

Received Above threshold?
24V Yes
12V Yes
5V Yes
3.6V No
