# Project description
The Holdover Extension Board has been designed in the framework of the R&D [17IND14 WRITE project](http://empir.npl.co.uk/write/). This board has been developed for the [White Rabbit Switch Low Jitter from Seven Solutions](https://ohwr.org/project/wrs-lj-hw/wikis/home), aiming to characterize in terms of performance and costs the utilization of different oscillators as the main White Rabbit Local Oscillator.
