USB-C serial connetor does not work with all USB cables

I have tried to connect USB-C connector to a PC using different USB-C cables with different results:

  • cable USB-A <-> USB-C that came with Logitech mouse - does not work
  • cable USB-A <-> USB-C brand Baseus - does work, but when the connector on WRSv4 is moved to the sides, then connection is interrupted (dmesg on Linux reports connections/disconnections)
  • cable USB-A <-> USB-C no brand - does work without problems, moving connector does not affect
  • cable USB-C <-> USB-C brand Baseus - does work without problems, moving connector does not affect
To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
