PMC Supply Voltage 3.3V AND 5V
Requirement from Specs (TR_6040): Power – The PMC mezzanine must support the two supply voltages 3.3V and 5V.
This requirement is not quite clear what is referring to. One interpretation was that this is referring to the PCI signal levels and not actual powering of the board since 3.3V rail on the FTRN is generated from whatever is on the input of the LTM4619 power converter.
Carriers with 5V PCI signals these day are practically extinct. We could not find PC in house that would have motherboard with 5V signaling on PCI pins.
Question is if this requirement is still relevant? Can we drop it?
