PXIe-FMC: PXI express FMC Carrier Board
Project description
This PXIe FMC carrier card was developed in the frame of the SAMBUCA (Sensors Acquisition and Motion Control system) project. This project, associated with DIOT project, aims at designing a flexible and modular low-level control solution for mechatronics application at CERN. The PXIe carrier card contains a large FPGA to host the Real Time motion control / processing algorithm that represents the critical core of the control application.

- Based on Xilinx Zynq UltraScale+ FPGA (XCZU7CG-1FFVF1517E)
- 4-lane PCIe Gen2
- FMC slot with high pin count (HPC) connector
- Vadj fixed to 1.8V
- LA, HA and HB banks fully connected to FPGA
- 8x serial transceiver pairs connected to FPGA's GTH
- 4GB DDR4 memory with ECC for FPGA Processing System
- 2GB DDR4 memory for FPGA Programmable Logic
- 64GB eMMC FLASH
- SFP cage
- White-Rabbit support
