The SPEXI7U PXIe FMC carrier card was developed in the frame of the SAMBUCA (Sensors Acquisition and Motion Control system) project. This project, associated with DIOT project, aims at designing a flexible and modular low-level control solution for mechatronics application at CERN. The PXIe carrier card contains a large FPGA to host the Real Time motion control / processing algorithm that represents the critical core of the control application.
