The WRS-v4 electronics part consist of a single main board (unlike WRS-v3 which consisted of two PCBs). Optionally, user-specific extension board can be connected to the main board. This page is dedicated to the main board of the WRS-v4 and its schematics review.
v1.0 (rar, pdf, BOM): output of the review 4, and input to the layout design
Typically, hardware designs are reviewed more than once and at different stages (schematics, layout). Each review is performed as follows:
Reviewers provide feedback by creating new issues and labeling them using Issues label name (e.g. "mainBoard-review-1", see table below). Creating issues requires account on ohwr.org, if you do have yet an account, please contact Maciej Lipinski.
NOTE: Please, check already submitted issues before submitting yours to avoid repeating the same feedback (feel free to add to the existing issue). Browsing through the submitted and closed issues for previous reviews can give context to some of the design choices.
Collection of review feedback finishes by deadline (see the table below), designers are welcome to reply to feedback as soon as it is submitted (no need to wait to the deadline) - it is appreciated that he designers monitors new issues regularly.
Ideally, most of the discussion between reviewers and designers happens via issues.
If need be, after the deadline, a meeting can be organised to summarized the most important resolved issues and handle outstanding issues.
