The FMC DIO 5ch TTL a card can be used in many ways. If you use the cards, please inform me about it.

    • BE/RF (Radio Frequency Group)
      • Using SPEC + DIO for acquisition of bunch-by-bunch data streams (continuous 40MSPS) from the LHC RF system and transverse damper via gigabit serial links. To be used for long time-base acquisition of the data for multiple concurrent users. Future applications will include online processing of the data using GPUs. (T.Levens, 6/2014)
    • PH/CMX (CMS Experiment)
      • R&D for phase 2 upgrade for HL-LHC with a microTCA-based Data Acquisition system, using the GLIB FMC Carrier as development platform. (G.Auzinger, 10/2014)
    • PH/UAT (ATLAS Experiment)
      • ATLAS Pixel detector, propagation of fast-OR type trigger signals to the ATLAS central trigger system. (A. Gorisek, 11/2014)
  • White Rabbit applications
    • Used in the White Rabbit starting kit.
