Yes, we want to have the rear cover EMC sealed. As you mentioned the rear cover is composed of two modules, one covering the PSUs and one covering the RTMs and we want EMC gasket between the two parts.

Indeed this point is not clear in our specs. The monitoring component is mounted on the PSU and then it is accessed through the Utility connectors of the PSUs. There is no monitoring mounted on the backplane. For you, for the crate design, there is no extra cabling regarding the monitoring module; all the cabling of the crate is shown in Figure 11.
