WRS Fan-less hardware
The White Rabbit Switch is the central element of a White Rabbit network and was designed as a part of the White Rabbit project. The current version of WRS 3.4 is built with two fans to provide forced air cooling. Measurement shows that when the fans fail, the temperature inside the WRS increases significantly, especially the FPGA chip.
Based on the WRS V3.4, the WRS-18 optimizes the layout of the SCB to improve the heat dissipation together with other smaller improvements. WRS-18 are open hardware designs licensed under CERN OHL 1.2, it can also be used as the hardware platform for other non-White Rabbit projects.
WRS-18B is a fan-less version of the WRS, specifically designed for long-term service-less operation and originated at the LHAASO project.
WRS-18A uses the same SCB and backplane, but integrates two fans inside the box with a modified heatsink. This version is suitable for high density rack installation.

Low Jitter Performance of WRS-FL
The performance of WRS-FL-LJ, a special version of WRS-FL[1] with low-jitter circuits support, has been tested. Comparing to standard WRS-FL, the WRS-FL-LJ includes two major improvements: 1: adding a extra AD9516 for 10MHz clock input 2: replacing the TCVCXO VM53S with a better TCVCXO or OCXO ( T604-025.0M[2] used in this test).
