New WRS-LJ Firmware V6.0 is published now. There are two methods to update to the latest Firmware V6.0:
- Use the official wr-switch-sw-v6.0(https://ohwr.org/project/wr-switch-sw/wikis/Documents/Version-'v6.0'-Attachments), then update the following files with ssh:
- Backup the files in WRS's repository /wr/lib/firmware and the file /wr/etc/dot-config
- Download 18p_mb-LX240T.bin
- Download rt_cpu.elf
- Update these two files to WRS's repository /wr/lib/firmware/
- Download dot-config
- Update the file 'dot-config' to WRS's repository /wr/etc/
Please note that the official firmware does not support the SFP management.
- Use the latest WRS-LJ firmware.
- wr-switch-sw-v6.0-3-gc7771a62-20200714_binaries.tar
- Update the file wr-switch-sw-v6.0-xxxx to WRS's repository /update/wrs-firmware.tar
- Reboot WRS-LJ and wait for ten minutes.
Known issues of this version:
1: The WRS will not boot-up until a DHCP server is installed or an "Enter" is given to the management serial port.
2: Currently, there are bugs in port 17 when WRS-LJ acts as FR or GM and port 17 acts as WR Master. It's a software bug and could probably exist in normal WRS-V3.4.
