MAC address permanent storage/assigment
It would be nice to assign MACs to a switch for a life-time. In other
words: when you re-flash the switch with new firmware, by default the
MACs assigned to a particular switch would be used.
This potentially could be done in two ways:
1. storing the MACs (which are currently provided as parameters -m1 and
-m2) in some permanent memory (or area in memory)
2. flash script reading the old MACs before erasing the memory
(probably, much worse idea)
