PMC prototype: known bugs and fixes - input for RevB
Known list of changes to the first PMC FTRN prototype:
- PCB foot print for diode DSH1 (JTAG VTARGET) needs to be reversed
- make visible schematic pin number for diodes
- replace IO TVS diodes (D215-D219) with sub 1ps capacitance version (Bourns CDSOD323-T05L)
- Data Lines D2, D3 between FPGA and FLASH need to be connected properly (check D1, D2, D3, D4 lines!)
- display: pull-up resistors on DI lines must be 1k (not 10k)
- keep pull-down on URES (for Cypress RESET#)
- add pull-up on WAKEUP# between Cypress and FPGA but place only pull-down
- determine LED resistor values for consistent luminosity
- connect PCI signals GNT# and REQ# to PMC connectors
- remove termination resistors at OTx receivers (R206, R212, R221, R230, R239)
- move PBP1 and PBF1 buttons to bottom PCB side or find 90deg buttons
and place them on board edge
- AUX power connector:
+ need replacement with lower element, or
+ current one needs to be mounted similarly as HEX switches or
+ it needs to be moved to other location where it does not interfere
with carrier PMC connectors (P3, P4)
- POW11_25A switcher, pin E8, DIFFP: needs to be connected to net V1_1, not V1_1_J!
- for FPGA flash use N25Q256A13EF840
- fix SFP cage footprint: additional mounting hole needed because of part replacement (obsolescence)
