Use of SYSEN_N
The backplane signal SYSEN_N indicates the module is placed in the system slot of the backplane. For the PXIeCOMe this should always be so, and so SYSEN_N is always ‘0’. The current solution to be able to read the value of SYSEN_N through IC32 and CEX_GPI0 is debatable.
A better solution would be to also use SYSEN_N in the circuit to control PE_PS_ON_N (see PXIeCOMe schematic page Power Management On/Off/Standby and SMBus).
