FMC High-Voltage Supply (fmc-hv-2ch)

Project description

The FMC-HV-2CH is an FMC card with a Low Pin Count (LPC) connector that accommodates multiple different High voltage or Low voltage outputs to suit the specific application. It can be assembled with different components to have different high-voltage ranges (e.g. -600V or +2 kV). Based on DC/DC power converter modules from XP Power.

Main Features

  • Two High Voltage outputs
    • Slim SHV Safe High Voltage connectors, Part Number 51494-2
    • Programmable with 16-bit DAC
    • Example: Vout max 2000V, resolution 26.7 mV
  • Two Low Voltage outputs
    • LEMO connectors
    • One programmable (3-10 V)
    • One fixed 12V
  • mV voltage sensing and mA current sensing capabilities
  • Overvoltage protection
  • Different voltage ranges possible at assembly
    • Only need to change DC/DC converter and Amplifier gain resistances for different applications
  • FMC card with low pin count (LPC) connector
    • Vadj fixed to 3.3V
  • Optimised for cost
    • 4-layer PCB
