FMC DTX 4CHA 4-channel high speed differential line driver FMC

The FMC-DTX-4CHA is a Differential line driver for high speed serial data distribution through LEMO 00 connectors. It is designed for transmitting the 40 Mb/s Manchester encoded revolution frequency signal as part of the RF program in the PS. The goal during the design process of the FMC has been to keep it as simple as possible with only the most important modules in hardware. This makes the board ideal as a general purpose serial link driver.

Functional Specifications

  • 4 output differential LEMO 00 contacts.
  • CLC006 line driver from TI.
  • Output levels: 30mA max, 3.3-1.7V. 400Mb/s max.
  • LVTTL I/O on carrier side.
  • 1-wire temp sensor (ID).
  • I2C 64Kb EEPROM Conf. Memory.
  • 8 LEDs.
