FMC ADC 100M 14B 4CHA testing support
Overview
This project describes the production test system for the
FMC-ADC-100M-14b-4cha card.
It is based on a SPEC carrier
board and a standard desktop computer.
The test system is based on the
PTS (Production Test Suite)
framework.
It is used in the fmc-adc-100m14b4cha-tst project as a git-submodule.
Test system setup
Installation instuctions
Required hardware

A desktop computer (with monitor, mouse and keyboard) and a free PCIe slot (4x lane or more).

A bar-code reader (e.g. CodeCorp CR1421).

A PCIe flexible extender, SAMTEC PCIEC-064-0200-EC-EM-P.

A SPEC (Simple PCIe FMC Carrier) board.
-
Four spacers and height screws to fix the SPEC board to the computer case.

An arbitrary waveform generator (AWG), Agilent 33250A.

A USB to RS232 converter (FT232 based).
-
A RS232 null modem cable (DB9 female – DB9 female).

A USB cable (type A to type B).
-
7x 2ns LEMO cables.

2x BNC to LEMO adapters.

Two power cords (for the computer and the AWG).

An anti-static wrist band.
