FMC optical TX 72ls 8hs
The FMC optical TX 72ls 8hs (IPC board) is a FMC mezzanine board that connects to an Xilinx Virtex-6 FPGA ML605 evaluation board that allows transmitting through 12-channel MPO optical devices a set of 72 links aimed for low-speed general I/ (up to 480 Mbps) and 8 links for high-speed multigigabit transmitters (up to 1600 Mbps).
Functional specifications
- 6 optical transmitters (12 channels each) MPO connectorized @ 480 Mbps.
- 1 optical transmitter (8 channels) MPO connectorized @ 1.6 Gbps.
- Programmable clock generator.
- 3 general purpose differential-pair pins.
- 4-layer PCB.
